prospective major: special major between History and Education for teaching certification, with a minor in English or Ancient History, or a special major between English and Education with a minor in History…of course it’s all very tentative at this point.

favorite tv shows: I don’t watch that much TV anymore, but I do enjoy these shows: Lost, Arrested Development, Project Runway, Top Chef, Rocko’s Modern Life, Antique Roadshow. And Planet Earth, if it were ever shown on TV.
favorite movies: Kubrick, Bergman, Wes Anderson, and the Coen Brothers. Half Nelson, Fight Club, Children of Men, Gladiator, V for Vendetta, American History X, Taxi Driver, Annie Hall, Blazing Saddles, Love Actually, Donnie Darko, Princess Mononoke, Trainspotting, Say Anything, Seven Samurai, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Star Wars Episodes III - VI.
favorite books: I like Fyodor Dostoevsky and David Sedaris. Catch-22, Beloved, 1984, The Great Gatsby, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, Fahrenheit 451, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Wuthering Heights, Lolita, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, A Confederacy of Dunces, and the Lorax.
Oh, and my birthday’s February 23rd, 1989 and I’m a tree-hugging liberal, but I appreciate good debates with views from all sides.
