Yesterday was my last day of classes, although not really, because I have a make up class from 2:40-3:55 for Russian Novel. This means that it’s officially “reading week”, even though it’s not really a week long, because finals start this Friday (and last until December 22nd, next Saturday).
My finals schedule is as follows:
- Three 3-5 page papers for my education class take home exam, due at 5PM Dec. 16th, Sunday
- Bio final 9-12 AM, Dec. 17th, Monday
- Latin final 9-12 AM, Dec. 21st, Friday
- 10-12 page paper for Russian Novel, due Dec. 21st, Friday
My schedule isn’t so bad, although it would’ve been nice if my finals were more close together because then I could go home sooner. Since they are so spaced out though, I have come down with a case of OCD and mapped out what I’m going to do for what final everyday from now until the 2st. Oy vey.
Oh yeah, pre-registration for next semester was right after Thanksgiving Break. I ended up deciding on taking the second semester of Latin, Modern China, American Lit Core Survey, and Rome in Late Antiquity (BUT I may switch this for a history seminar or the Dostoevsky class). With this schedule I will basically have class from 9:30-10:20 and Monday and Friday, and classes straight from 9-12:35 and then 2:40-3:55 on Tuesday/Thursday. This could be a good or bad thing…
ED I applicants…hang in there! You’ll get your news reallyyyyyy soon…the admissions office had a little party yesterday which I assume means that they’re done making decisions and have sent out the notification letters.
Good luck, I just finished my graduate degree. It was a long road, but worth it.
That doesn’t sound like that bad of a schedule to me actually.
That’s what mine is basically going to be like. Except not that early.
I would probably be running to hand those papers in at 4:45… I really hope you don’t end up doing that. Good luck with everything! And look at the bright side, you get those extra days to study. I would love that.
They had a party yesterday! Which means I’m getting it tomorrow! yearghhhh. It’s so sad that I have to do after school things.
Also, random question: am I required to take any math classes at Swat? I know it’s a distribution system, but I’m not 100% sure what that means.
Sorry, that was me, Clarissa. Forgot I was signed in to my college blog…
